Little man just ten and at the end of his rope
He got a feeling inside him like he about to explode
No one knows but the storm is brewing deep in his psyche
Last night he only slept for an hour and lightly
Un-showered, unsightly but he still made it to class
His teacher might have seen trouble if she had bothered to ask
And Maybe he would’ve told her that he lives with a demon
And he’s been thinking of ways to send him back to his legions
To stop him from breathing, from beating him and his mother
He just don’t want him to die, he wants this devil to suffer
He put a spell on his mom to make sure she never leaves him
Cause he just tells her he loves her and she always believes him
And lets him back in the house although he’ll never respect her
But little man loves his mom and feels he’s got to protect her
He found the demon sleeping, creeping little man was determined
He got a knife out the kitchen and plunged it into him sternum
It goes

Stress, yes going through struggles
The pressure keeps building but we not willing to stumble
Nevertheless, it’s all going to crumble
And the best of us blessed when we crawl out of the rubble
With cigarettes, sex trying to keep humble
But there’s a feeling we’re dealing with killers deep in the jungle
And its effects are less if we could live in a bubble
But the thing we keep learning is ain’t no turning from trouble

She looking at herself puzzled standing in front of the mirror
There’s a voice that’s inside her and no one but her can hear it
She don’t know where it came from or even how it embraced her
But it tells her she’s plain dumb and it tells her it hates her
And it’s calling her fat, it says she’s ugly and worthless
Til she runs to the toilet and starts to vomit on purpose
Fingers to the back of her throat to lose dinner
She don’t know that she’s broke she only wants to get thinner
But all her friends think she’s perfect and all the boys getting close
But they don’t know that she’s haunted by a malevolent ghost
She’s got to keep up her image when she’s in front of the crowds
Cause when she’s getting attention, she gets to feeling all proud
But when she’s back home alone she’s swinging open the icebox
Through the pantry she combs consuming all that her eyes spot
Until she’s standing naked back in the mirror depressed
She knows the voice coming won’t let her rest she’s possessed
It goes

Young man fifteen and at the end of his rope
He learned a whole lot of things but never taught how to cope
Mom and dad kept him sheltered from any pain he was dealt
Disappointment and loss that’s not a strain he had felt
A profane type of wealth and family money but the fact is
He low self esteem and deemed himself unattractive
Cause the girls at his school all treat him like he’s invisible
Rich kid got it all but still walks the halls miserable
And he’s a typical teen boy with hormonal advances
And there’s a girl that he likes but knows he’s blown all his chances
Now she’s going to the dance with some popular kid
So he’s outside the school gym with binoculars hid
And a gat in his backpack strapped with his heart broke
Prepared to exact his attack he waits in a dark coat
Expected they’d exit the dance at twenty to six
Rejected he resented them all and emptied the clips
It goes
